Tirana, Albania Program

Established in 2002, the Empire State University program in Tirana, Albania offers students onsite, classroom-based learning in cooperation with the University of New York, Tirana. Through this innovative and flexible approach to international education, students living in Albania earn fully accredited, American degrees. Students typically study at the University of New York, Tirana, for two years before transferring to the Empire State College program to complete their bachelor's degrees.  

In Tirana, students are able to choose from the following academic programs:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
  • Bachelor of Science in Human Development with a concentration in Psychology
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
  • Bachelor of Science in Management
  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting
  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in Marketing
  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in Finance
  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in Economics
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science in Cultural Studies with a concentration in Communication and Media
  • Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies with a concentration in English Literature
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science in Public Affairs with a concentration in International Relations
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science in Public Affairs with a concentration in Political Science
  • Bachelor of Science in Science, Math, and Technology with a concentration in Computer Science
