Statement from SUNY Empire State College on Trooper Jeremy J. VanNostrand '06

The SUNY Empire State College community mourns the death of alumnus and New York State Trooper Jeremy J. VanNostrand ’06, who completed a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies at our Johnstown location. VanNostrand exemplified the New York State Police Academy’s motto, “Excellence Through Knowledge.” Our deepest sympathies go to his family, friends and his colleagues and fellow troopers with state police.
