SUNY Empire is happy to announce that registration for this year’s Spring Student Conference is now open! The conference is open to all students, alumni, faculty, and staff — and there is no registration fee! 

This year’s conference theme is Elevate Your Voice. This conference will provide you with the opportunity to learn the skills needed to move into the work force, attain a professional promotion, take your leadership to the next level, and increase your understanding of today's professional environment. 

The Spring Student Conference is a three-day experience, taking place April 13-15, 2023, at the Desmond Hotel in Albany, NY. Join us in this unique opportunity to network with your fellow students, college faculty, staff, professionals, and alumni.  

We’ll have several tracks ranging from leadership and career development to balancing the ebbs and flows of work and life. No matter where you are in your personal or professional journey, there is something for you. 

Additionally, for 2023 we will be adding pre-con sessions to Thursday’s program. These sessions are focused sessions that take place Thursday afternoon, prior to the conference kick-off. These sessions differ from the concurrent sessions in that they are intended to help conference attendees enhance specific skill sets or achieve specific goals.

There are limited travel grants available to help you cover the cost of your hotel room and/or travel to and from the conference. The travel grant application is part of the conference registration form.
