SUNY Empire Student Places First in Esports Tournament

SUNY Empire Esports student Connor "Clyde" Fitzgibbons won first place in PS5 Guilty Gear: Solid Tournament, one of the several games the institution's esports league competes in. In addition, SUNY Empire students, Phil "PhillyBlaze" Azouras, Jakeb "GeckoElectric" House, Joann "Babyface" Williams, and Saryna "Lycsilia" Neary, competed as the team "Angry Keyboards," and won third place in Call of Duty: Cold War & Warzone. This is the first time SUNY Empire has had students place in an Esports tournament since the institution introduced the collegiate program in 2020. Congratulations!
