Welcome!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. In honor of this important month, the Office of Student Life will provide access to programs and trainings to help you to learn more about mental health resources and addiction recovery, as well as to help reduce the stigma associated with mental health diagnosis and treatment.

We have now passed a full year since the State of New York went on P.A.U.S.E., and mental health awareness and resources continue to play an important role in the ability for our community to successfully navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’ve been connected with a mental health provider for a long time or are just starting to reach out for some extra help, we are here to support you in your journey.

Programs highlights include:

  • Methods to reduce the stigma associated with mental health, addiction, and recovery
  • Training to help prevent suicide within your community
  • SUNY Empire and local mental health resources
  • A call to action to spread the word about mental health

Watch for schedule updates at SUNY Empire Connects and on the Student Success social media channels.
