Active Duty Tuition Assistance

SUNY Empire accepts DOD Tuition Assistance (TA). Each branch of service has its own set of TA requirements. Please review links below for your service specific guidelines.

Contact your service branch education counselor for information and processing of tuition assistance, along with resources to help you determine:

• Tuition assistance eligibility
• Amount of tuition assistance coverage
• How to apply for tuition assistance
• Scholarships and grants for military servicemembers

Current Empire State University Tuition and Fees for Military and Veteran Students.

Once you have determined your TA eligibility, please reach out to a SUNY Empire military outreach coordinator at military.programs@sunyempire.edu for assistance. They will provide you with a free Evaluated Education Plan which includes your previous college credits and credit earned through military service.                             

Approved TA documents can be emailed to kimberly.durant@sunyempire.edu or faxed to Student Accounts, Attn: Military Accounts Coordinator at 518 580-4863.
