Our Student Veteran and Military Club:
- Supports connections among its members
- Raises awareness of student veterans and other military-affiliated groups in the greater university community
- Serves in an advisory capacity to the university
- Advocates for students
- Networks and connects within our local communities

The Office of Veteran and Military Education uses funding provided through the Student Activity Fee. Veteran and military students/alumni and their families and friends have spent the day at Darien Lake (since 2011) and Six Flags Great Escape (since 2012), enjoying rides, the water park, a barbecue picnic, giveaways and raffle items. Both events have gained interest since their inception and attendance has steadily increased.
