Empire State University Holds Defensive Driving Courses in Partnership with AARP

(SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY -- September 11, 2023) SUNY Empire will be holding defensive driving classes in partnership with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) on September 23, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They will be held at the Saratoga Springs location (2 Union Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY) and the Rochester location (680 Westfall Road, Rochester, NY). These courses are open to Empire State University faculty, staff, students, and members of the public.  

The AARP Smart Driver Course is the nation’s largest classroom driver safety course and shares a wealth of applicable knowledge regardless of a driver’s age. Those who attend may be eligible for a discount on their car insurance.  

Registration is required to attend. The cost is $25 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. Registration is now full for the Rochester course. Sign up for the Saratoga course, or find courses near you.
