Nondegree (non-matriculated) Students

Looking to take a course or two for career development, personal enrichment, or earn credit toward a degree at another college or university?  Apply now to be a nondegree student.

Returning Students

We are excited you have decided to return to Empire State University.  Students who have been withdrawn from the University for more than 3 years will need to submit a new application.  If you’ve taken a short break, chances are your student account is still active.  Log into MySUNYEmpire to see if your account is still active.  If you forgot your password, use this reset your password link.  If you need technical help with a password reset, learn more or contact the IT Service Desk for assistance.

An application is considered complete when the admissions office has received all of the following items:

Immunization Requirement

State law dictates that students enrolling in 6 or more credits provide proof of immunization including immunization against measles, mumps, rubella, and meningitis. Applicants are encouraged to provide documentation to avoid registration restrictions.
