Active-duty Army and activated Army National Guard and Reservists are required to apply and enroll through the ArmyIgnitED portal at ArmyIgnitED.
Veterans and all other active-duty service members, including inactive Army National Guard or Army Reservists, may apply to and enroll in Empire State University using the university's normal application and enrollment procedures. Follow the instructions for how to apply for undergraduate study or graduate study.- up to 40 credits* toward an associate degree
- up to 93 credits* toward a bachelor's degree
*Credits must meet degree requirements and be applicable to your concentration.
You can choose from any program or create your own. Find a program or learn more about how to design an individualized program.
Body: Courses begin at Empire State University five times per year:
- Spring 1 term begins in January and Spring 2 in March.
- Summer term begins in May.
- Fall 1 term begins in September and Fall 2 in late October or early November.
Terms are 15 weeks long, with an eight-week option during the summer term.
