FAFSA Section
- FSA ID: The first step in the application process for federal student aid is to apply for a FSA ID. A FSA ID is a username and password that you must use to log in to certain U.S. Department of Education (ED) websites. Your FSA ID identifies you as someone who has the right to access your own personal information.
- FAFSA: Link to the Federal Department of Education's online application (Empire State University federal code = 010286) and complete the appropriate-year FAFSA.
- Complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA for enrollments that begin May 2024 and thereafter. For enrollments that began prior to April 2024, make sure to have completed the 2023-2024 FAFSA.
