Ann Marie Scheidegger is an accomplished higher education finance and operations leader with more than 25 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, and strategic resource planning, including 15 years in senior leadership roles within higher education. Her work is grounded in early career Big-5 audit and consulting experience, where she built a strong foundation in financial analysis, internal controls, and operational improvement.

Ann Marie served as Vice President for Administrative Services and Treasurer at SUNY Adirondack for over a decade, where she led institution-wide planning efforts and oversaw a broad portfolio that included finance, capital and facilities, public safety, legal and compliance, risk management, human resources, housing, dining services, and the campus bookstore. She is known for driving data-informed, mission-aligned initiatives that enhance the student, faculty, and staff experience while enabling institutional strategy.

A respected voice in the field, Ann Marie has been invited to speak in board rooms and classrooms on a range of higher education budget and finance topics. She recently served as President of the New York State Community College Business Officers Association (CCBOA), where she led statewide initiatives to strengthen collaboration, professional development, and financial leadership across the SUNY system.

A Saratoga Springs resident, Ann Marie holds a BBA in Accounting and an MBA from Siena College. She is deeply committed to public higher education that is accessible, affordable, and responsive to the needs of today’s learners.
