It is that time once again, time to nominate yourself or another student for the Student Excellence Awards. Nominations for the 2022-23 Academic Year are now open. 

SUNY Empire Student Excellence and The SUNY Chancellor’s Award

Deadline: January 6, 2023, at 5 p.m. 

The SUNY Empire Award for Excellence and The SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence acknowledge students for outstanding achievements. Specifically, we are seeking nominations of students who have best demonstrated the integration of excellence within many aspects of their lives, which must include three of the following areas: academics, leadership, campus involvement, community service, or the arts (creative performing). This is for SUNY Empire students who have graduated or will graduate between June 2022 and May 2023. 

Nominations will be accepted through January 6, 2023. 
 

Should you wish to nominate yourself, you may fill out the form using the link below. If you would like to nominate another student, you can reach out to them directly or you can send the name of your nominee to us, and we will notify the student of their nomination. 

If you prefer to reach out to the student directly, please include the link to the Student Excellence Award nomination form. There is one form for both awards. 

Please note: Students are required to supply two letters of reference. If your references supply a letter of reference to you, you can upload it within the application. Letters of reference can also be sent electronically to David Caso at David.Caso@esc.edu.
