Your SUNY Email
Your university email is the main way we communicate with you. We send important updates about registration, payments, academic support, events, and more.
Check your email regularly using your SUNY Empire login (firstname_lastname###@sunyempire.edu). We also offer an easy option to forward your university email.
Your Next Steps
If you’re a newly accepted student, check your SUNY email for your username and instructions
on setting up your account.
If you are a returning student or have submitted a FAFSA application, you already have an account. Log in using your established credentials. You can also reset your password if you have forgotten it.
You’re automatically enrolled in orientation once you’re accepted. Orientation is required and gives you an introduction to SUNY Empire. Use your My.SUNYEmpire account login to complete your orientation when it’s convenient for you. Contact us with questions at Orientation@sunyempire.edu.
3. Submit Immunization Requirements
If you plan to register for six or more credits, you’re required by the State to submit
documentation of immunization. Find out more about these requirements and submit your
documents. This must be done before you register for courses.
4. Register for Classes
You’ll receive course recommendations via email three to five business days after
you complete orientation. Our advisors make these recommendations based on your transcripts,
orientation questions, and available courses.
