Biochemistry of Trauma and Higher Education Learning  

Dr. Joan Buzick will discuss the biochemical processes behind trauma and crisis, and how these chemical processes impact our day-to-day functioning and learning.  

The presentation will be followed by purposeful dialogue for faculty and students to understand themselves and each other through meaningful conversations. 

Focusing on personal development, students will speak on their own experiences through crisis and learning and the role of support from faculty. 

Faculty are invited to share how they have addressed student crisis through supportive interventions offered by SUNY Empire.
